Hospital Interim Management & Audit Woolwich

In March 2012 Opex accepted a commission from John Laing Investments to take the post of interim technical manager at the hospital. In January 2003 The Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital asked us to provide full bidding support to initiate the SPV, but then latterly to the FM company on this award-winning hospital development. The hospital was unique in its design (by BDP), due primarily to its strong focus on children and the restricted site footprint available and this gave a lead to the increasing sized floor plates further up the 8 stories of the building and hence due to its shape, it was christened the ‘Arc’.
The procurement process and the bid was won and is now fully operational having opened in May 2007.
