Project Summary:
Luton & Dunstable NHS Trust, commissioned us to provide contract and maintenance audit services to assist their understanding of their PFI partner’s FM services. performance. The project included three stages;
Site familiarisation, preparation and programming.
On-site review of asset base and auditing of requirement and maintenance costs, with assessment against the contract LC model.
Report & presentation of findings and negotiations with the PFI Company.
The PFI contract is a circa 6,500m2 3 storey building extension to the main hospital designed for physiotherapy services on the ground floor and elderly care wards on the first and second floors. More recently three quarters of the ground floor has been remodelled to provide 28 and 18-bed wards including an Haemato-Oncology ward.
