In this School Benchmarking project, we were contracted to support the client in the development of a detailed benchmarking report with full supporting cost data
Our brief was to undertake a full FM School Benchmarking review in line with the terms of the signed contract for 17 bundled secondary, primary and infant schools across the county of Cornwall. The review included the following FM services; Grounds, Portering and Churn, Cleaning, Pest Control, Waste Management and Security services.
The review was complex by way of the range of services, the variety of schools, the demographics and locations of the schools. The FM Client provided Opex with a broad range of cost information and specification requirement. Opex provided both industry available schools data, along with market benchmarking from its extensive portfolio of PFI contracts.
