Project Summary:
Opex provided an interim Director of Hard Services for the Acute NHS Hospital at Peterborough for 18 months to lead the project turnaround of service delivery at the site. The requirements included ensuring statutory compliance, restructuring service delivery from top to bottom, rebuilding relationships with the SPV and the NHS Trusts, motivating and re-energising the on-site workforce.
Context:
The Hard FM Service standard had slipped over a period of time at the site. The contract was not being run efficiently or effectively, with relationships up to the SPV and Trust as well as down to the workforce in a poor state. Opex were brought into the project in order to rescue and improve service delivery for the parent client Multiplex Europe Limited.
Achievements:
Opex were successful in fully turning the project delivery around. The SPV have since put the services contracts at Peterborough forward for industry awards. Relationships have been rebuilt between all parties and the service is now fully compliant and working towards best industry practice.
